meet the founder
Here is a little more about my background... I was born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida. From the start I had a passion for design and fashion. I was obsessed with fashion magazines and celebrity style. I was also obsessed with having my closet in perfect condition and every item color coded.
As I got older, my extremely fashionable mother, Meryl, worked as an interior designer and I worked as her assistant while in middle and high school. I remember attending incredible meetings with clients at their homes, at fabric stores getting swatches, and at furniture stores. I fell in love with the creative side of interior design.
As soon as I was old enough in high school to work myself, I landed a job at my favorite store, Intermix, as a Sales Assistant. I knew I would have to work from the bottom up and did every job 100%, from cleaning the floors, to spacing hangers on the sales floor, and organizing inventory in the stockroom. At the time, I didn’t realize how much of an impact this would make on my future career.
It was in high school I decided that I wanted to pursue my dream career in fashion and was fortunate enough to have been accepted at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology located in New York City. As soon as I moved, I fell in love with New York! There was no looking back - so I thought. While I studied Fashion Merchandising by night, I continued to work as a Personal Stylist at Intermix by day, and worked my way up to being one of the top sales associates company wide. I loved developing personal connections with my clients and getting invited into their homes to organize and style their closets. After countless fashion internships & desk jobs, I realized fashion merchandising wasn't for me and my true passion was personal styling & home organization!
My passion for home organization grew even deeper after working for a top Professional Organizer in NYC for over 2 years. I had the opportunity to work with incredible high profile clients and top influencers, which was an amazing experience. I learned kitchen organization preferences from private chefs, changing table preferences from baby nurses & nannies, and cleaning supplies and laundry room organization from house managers. The experience was tremendous. After living in NYC for 10 years, it was time to escape the cold weather and move back my roots in to South Florida.
Organize & Style is a combination of my love and passion for interior design, fashion, and home organization! I’m beyond excited to help my clients live a more beautiful and functional life!
